Effects of the pandemic have created an existential threat for many low-economic families in Podor.
From October 2020 through January 2021, FORWARD assisted more than 400 families in Podor by distributing food and protective equipment.
Rice, oil, sugar, soap, hand disinfectant and facemasks were distributed. The distribution concluded with a ceremony in honor of donors. Present were local authorities, the mayor, and families grateful for the support. Moreover, local media were present and reported on distribution among the population.
